Study Background
The Family Treatment Services (FTS) Program is a SAMSHA funded program that enables us to provide six months of no cost residential treatment to support and sustain recovery.
The intensive residential treatment program specializes in pregnant and post-partum women (within one year of delivery) with substance abuse and/or co-occurring behavioral health disorders.
Participants will be assigned a primary therapist to coordinate their Comprehensive Family Plan. The residential treatment includes individual, group, and family counseling, case management, and peer support.

Additional Information
The purpose of Family Treatment Services is to provide an intensive residential treatment program specializing in pregnant and postpartum women (up to 1 year) with substance abuse and/or co-occurring behavioral health disorders.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Pregnant or postpartum women (within 1 year of delivery)
- Currently struggling with substance use such as alcohol or other drugs
- Diagnosed with a behavioral health disorder (i.e., anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder)
Once enrolled in the program, eligible women will reside on campus and receive all necessary services.
Treatment Description:
- Six months of residential treatment – Individual, Group and Family Counseling, Case Management and Peer Support
- Parenting Support for patient and family
- Physician supervised Medication Assisted Treatment
- Support Services to complement core treatment including Child Watch staff
- Developmental Screenings for children
- Mental health and medical health clinic access
- Family screening for behavioral health
- HIV testing
- Trauma therapy
- Smoking cessation
Participants will receive treatment at no cost.
