Study Background
Researchers at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are looking for women ages 18-40 who are currently working night shifts or rotating shifts
We want to learn more about the effects of working night shifts on women’s heart health.
This research study will consist of one remote session that will last approximately one hour, and one in-person visit that will last approximately two hours. During the in-person visit at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, we will measure blood vessel function, blood pressure, and bone mineral density.

Researchers at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are looking for women ages 18-20 who are currently working night shifts or rotating shifts.
We want to learn more about the effects of working night shifts on women’s heart health.

The goal of this study is to learn more about the effects of working night shifts on women’s heart health.
You may qualify for a study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:

Women ages 18-40
-
Currently working night shifts or rotating shifts (alternating between day and night shifts)
-
Not using hormonal contraceptives
-
Not a smoker
-
Not using blood pressure or statin medications
-
Have not started menopause
This research study will consist of two sessions:
- Remote session lasting approximately 60 minutes
- In-person visit to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus lasting approximately 2 hours
During the in-person visit, we will measure blood vessel function, blood pressure, and bone mineral density.
As a participant, you can receive up to $125 for your time and effort.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research study.
