Study Background

We want to know if a mobile app can encourage people to participate in fun sober activities.

Our research team is recruiting participants at outpatient alcohol treatment programs to participate in a study aiming to increase engagement in enjoyable sober activities. If eligible, we will ask participants to complete 3 different surveys over a 6-month period. Additionally, half of the participants will be asked to use a smartphone app as part of the study and the other half will not use an app.

You may not directly benefit from participating in this study. However, you may find it helpful to report information on your alcohol use and activity patterns as a way of self-monitoring.
