This study aims to test the effectiveness of a mobile app, Support2Quit, which is designed to help adults quit smoking cigarettes. Over the course of 30 days, participants will use the app daily to complete activities and receive tips to help them quit smoking.

Researchers at Influents Innovations are conducting this study with the aim of improving treatment options for adults who want to quit smoking cigarettes.
You may qualify for the study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18+
- Daily cigarette smoker
- Interested in quitting smoking
- Not currently receiving smoking cessation treatments (such as patches or gum) or counseling
- Speak English
- Have a valid home mailing address within the USA
- Have access to a smartphone
Everyone who takes part in this virtual study will be asked to use the Support2Quit app, which will send daily tips about quitting smoking, and answer 3 brief online surveys, one before using the app, a second after 1 month, and a final survey after 3 months.
Some participants will also be asked to watch videos with instructions for completing 5 activities related to quitting smoking, for example, writing a letter to a person close to you about your decision to stop smoking. These participants will use the app to record videos of themselves completing the activities and upload these videos into the app to be shared with a confidential group of 6 or 7 other participants.
As a participant, you can receive up to $125 via check for your time and effort.
