Study Background

Researchers at UT Health San Antonio are conducting a study to help people with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD).

This study aims to find a new way to treat AUD using a special kind of treatment called image-guided, robot-navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (IR-TMS).

Participants will receive up to 40 treatments with IR-TMS. They will also undergo fMRI scanning to determine the effects of the treatment.

Findings from this study will determine the efficacy of IR-TMS therapy for AUD.
