Study Background

Researchers at the Medical University of South Carolina are hoping to understand cannabis use in pregnancy and postpartum, with the goal of improving support for individuals during this time.

The current study aims to improve decisional support based on influences of cannabis use during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Many people experience challenges such as stress, pain, or difficulty sleeping after giving birth, and researchers want to improve decisional support for individuals using cannabis to manage these symptoms during pregnancy and postpartum.

By sharing your experience, you can help researchers improve decisional support, reduce the likelihood of cannabis relapse and improve overall well-being for birthing people. Insights from this study will directly inform the development of new resources and interventions for parents during this critical time.
