Study Background

If you are a man who wants to lose weight through healthy eating and being physically active, you may be eligible for a 12-month research study.

UTK is evaluating a health and wellness intervention for individuals with overweight or obesity.

Findings from this research study will determine the influence of time-based energy intake goals on long-term weight loss. Researchers will also examine the influence of time-based energy intake goals on eating temporal patterns, sleep regularity, and appetite regulation.

Participants will be randomized into one of three groups, which differ in time-based eating goals. Each group will be asked to eat a percentage of their daily calories within a specific eating window. Participants will attend study visits, and provide data on your physical activity, sleep, and food/drink intake.
