Researchers at Trialmed are conducting a research study evaluating an investigational seasonal flu vaccine for adults ages 65 and older. The goal of this study is to compare how well the investigational vaccine works compared to an approved flu vaccine to help advance future influenza prevention.

This study is being conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational seasonal flu vaccine compared with an approved flu vaccine in adults ages 65 and older. Researchers hope the findings will help improve future options for preventing seasonal influenza.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Ages 65+
  • Have not had a flu infection in the past 6 months
  • Have not had the flu vaccine in the past 6 months
  • No confirmed or suspected immunosuppressive or immunodeficient condition

If you choose to participate:

  1. You will complete a screening process to determine if you qualify for the study.
  2. If you are eligible, you will receive either the investigational flu vaccine or an approved flu vaccine.
  3. You will attend in-person study visits where the study team will monitor your health and collect information throughout the study.
  4. The research team will provide instructions and support during your participation and will be available to answer your questions.

After you express interest, your information will be securely submitted to the study team, who will contact you to discuss eligibility and the next steps.

Participants who qualify and complete the study may receive up to $920 for their time and participation.
