Taking At Least 2 Blood Pressure Medications, Including A Diuretic (Water Pill)

If Eligible, You Will be Reimbursed for Study-Related Time and Travel

Conducted In the UK
Trial Background
This trial is evaluating a potential treatment for adults whose high blood pressure is not well controlled.
The research is testing an investigational medication given as an injection under the skin every six months, in addition to participants’ current blood pressure medications. The goal is to determine whether this medication can help reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, heart failure, or cardiovascular death.
This trial may be especially relevant for people with a history of cardiovascular disease, including conditions affecting the heart, brain, or circulation.

Additional Information
Researchers want to see if a medication to standard blood pressure treatment can lower the risk of major cardiovascular events while improving overall heart and kidney health.
This trial may be especially relevant for individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease (such as heart disease, stroke, or poor circulation). You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.
